After living in Ukraine for years, our founder Kyle Mau discovered something other businesses were missing - the region’s professionals offered world-class skills at a fraction of the price. What began as placing Virtual Assistants for a few friends evolved as word spread about the quality and value.
When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Kyle evacuated with his pregnant wife and dog, crossing the border after days of travel. Instead of abandoning the business, he doubled down - rebranding from Exec-VA to HireUA, and expanding the company mission.
Today, we connect ambitious businesses with premium remote talent across Eastern Europe and Latin America. Our mission is to streamline the entire hiring process for businesses, leveraging our extensive network and experience in these markets.

Yes. The candidates we present are willing and able to work during your business hours, regardless of where you're based. This is an expectation we verify with all candidates during our screening process.
Our candidates have strong English communication skills, typically at a B+ level. While English isn't their first language, they're fluent enough that there are no communication gaps in day-to-day work.
We take extensive measures to ensure our candidates are in stable regions with reliable infrastructure. Many candidates have relocated to neighboring countries, and we verify that all candidates have consistent internet access and appropriate working conditions.
Our recruitment team sources, screens, and interviews candidates based on your specific requirements. We typically present 3-5 pre-qualified candidates to you within 5-10 days. You'll interview them yourself and select the best fit. If you don't find a match, we'll continue searching until you're satisfied.
We offer a replacement guarantee with no time limitation. If at any point you're not satisfied with your hire, we'll restart the search and find you a replacement at no additional search fee.
We have a thorough vetting process that includes skills assessments, background checks, and reference verification. We also ensure candidates have experience with the specific tools and platforms you use in your business.
Absolutely. Many clients start with 10-15 or 20-25 hours per week and scale up as their needs grow and they develop confidence in the working relationship.
We bill you once a month for the employee's salary. You pay us directly, and we handle all the international banking, exchange rates, tax codes, and payments to the employee.
We accept credit card payments through Stripe for both the search fee and monthly salary payments.
If you need to end the working relationship, we simply ask that you provide two weeks' notice. There are no long-term contracts or termination fees.
No, there are no hidden fees. You pay the one-time search fee to initiate the process and then the monthly salary. That's it.
